teen depression


Depression is a common problem among teenagers of today. With all of the stress
of school, parents, etc , teenager feel a lot of pressure put on them. Students in
school are pressured with tests, teachers personalities, and peer pressure mostly. 1
in 8 adolescence may be suffering from depression. 30 % of these children ultimately
die of suicide. These statistics are scary because children of today are killing
themselves unnecessarily. There are many different warning signs of depression such
as : constant mood swings, sluggishness, drug abuse, talking about death, physical
ailments, problems in school (failing grades, not paying attention in class, getting
into trouble constantly.)
